On Saturday, the Dragons travel to Delta College (map) for the state regional meet. Our bus time is 8am. We will board the bus at the middle school. All XC team members will park at the middle school due to the playoff football game taking place later Saturday afternoon. After being picked up at 8am at the middle school, we’ll stop by the high school to load our tent and equipment, then leave for Delta.
The boys will race at 10:30 am and the girls run at 11:30. The awards ceremony runs from 12:30 to 1pm. We should return to school by bus between 2pm and 3pm. If you need to return earlier, please get a travel release ahead of time.

The team leaves for camp on Wednesday. As mentioned in a previous post, we’ll meet at 8am as usual. We’ll be gone from Wednesday to Sunday. On Monday the 20th, we’ll hand out uniforms at practice, then Tuesday we have our first meet at Durand. Our bus for the Durand meet leaves at 3:45 pm on Tuesday (8/21). We’ll hold our parent meeting back at the high school after returning from the Durand meet on Tuesday evening at approximately 7pm.
The MHSAA fall sports season officially begins on Wednesday, 8/8/12. All Atheltic paperwork must be on file in the Athletic Office by Wednesday in order to continue to participate in practice with the team. Links to important documents are provided below:

Summer is here and it’s time to start training for the fall Cross Country season. We’ll start our summer conditioning on Monday, June 18, at 8am. We meet by the visitors entrance to the football field. Here is the pre-season handout if you need a copy. Please note that we have already made a change to the meet calendar. We’re planning to attend the Davison Invite on Friday, September 28, in stead of Midland on the 29th.
There will once again be a Turkey Trot in Flint at Mott Park Golf Course this year. Details are available here.
